PHOENIX - A former WWE champion is credited with stopping a burglar in Phoenix.
http://www.abc15.com/news/region-phoenix-metro/central-phoenix/wwe-star-daniel-bryan-stops-burglar-in-phoenix

Tapping out criminals while in recovery for injuries. My boy D-Bry is the best!
I bet the Authority was responsible for this.
but WWE is fake
Doesn't mean they aren't incredibly large and intimidating looking
Doesn't mean they aren't incredibly large and intimidating looking
Or trained. Hell, theres wrestling moves that you can actually use in a fight that would do some serious damage.
but WWE is fake
That is true, but that doesn't mean that they can't save anybody or in this case stop a burglar.
It's a joke about a dumb overused comment, chill bros
It's a joke about a dumb overused comment, chill bros
I know you're probably aware but there's a misconception that professional wrestlers are JUST actors - they're very real fighters. The outcomes are often (usually, probably) scripted but i wouldn't want to meet a lot of them in a dark alley regardless.

I watched his entire interview, he's such a great and down to earth dude. Wrestlers are awesome.
Or trained. Imagine botching a Randy Orton punt kick and actually getting hit. That would be extremely painful.
Also, you pretty much have to be a good person to be a wrestler, considering all the shit they do to their bodies to entertain people.
They're going to make this into a storyline aren't they?
Not while Bryan's neck and shoulder are fucked. Also mentioned that Bryan kept the guy down until police arrived, which obviously means he subjected the guy to SUBMISSION WRESTLING.
YES! YES! YES!
but WWE is fake
yes but the dangers are real [editline]26th July 2014[/editline] Couldn't give less shit about WWE though. Saw 'em live in Finland once, lol.
Or trained. Hell, theres wrestling moves that you can actually use in a fight that would do some serious damage.
Their job consists in throwing each other really hard on the ground and hitting each other with steel chairs. They know how to greatly limit the damage, yeah, but I'd rather not get in a fight with a man whose part of his job is to lift steel folding chairs and smash other people over the head with them.

Look up Chris Benoit, Owen Hart, who're dead, or Edge and Steve Austin, who retired because of their injuries.
Pshh probably scripted
Or trained. Hell, theres wrestling moves that you can actually use in a fight that would do some serious damage.
There are some moves that could be lethal if done legitly in a real fight. I mean, how many wrestlers have been injured from a botched Tombstone Pile-driver and actually been dropped on their head?

Shit, he was one of the reasons I watched it in my childhood.
I bet the Authority was responsible for this.
I bet Randy Orton would've hit both burglers with the RKO, outta nowhere. Just more evidence that DB is just a B+ player.
I bet Randy Orton would've hit both burglers with the RKO, outta nowhere. Just more evidence that DB is just a B+ player.
One of the burglars would have been Cena, who would've promptly kicked out
Could John Cena beat Goku in a fight?
Steve Austin isn't wrestling anymore? Shit, he was one of the reasons I watched it in my childhood.
Naw, he fucked his neck up in the 90's and it was finally getting to him a few years back, he still shows up a lot though. Also, he has a podcast, and listening to him ramble on said podcast is hilarious.
