SKIP TO 06:00 FOR THE ONE I'M TALKING ABOUT
The looks could be improved, but the sound is a fucking beast. Alot better than most games.
I hope this modder makes it even better.
That was amazing.
:haw:
Lovely FX! But shouldn't the rumbling sound arrive pretty much at the same time when the blastwave is there. I mean why do we hear it before it tags cameraguy #1...
Suck a dick MW2 and Fallout nukes. This is where its at.
The best thing would be the sound, and the first bright flash.
I was kinda hoping for a tidal wave.
oh my that's a pretty explosion.
The lack of tidal waves makes it too unrealistic. In fact the apparent lack of any response from the water.

But is it technically possible with the engine?
I was expecting bass.
I wish the water was affected too
Shoulda stood in the forest and watched it. I wanted to see the trees breaking and leaves blowing around and shit
Bah. I wanted to see it ripping buildings apart.
Also, I hate these electronica / techno songs they always have in the background. Well, beats let the bodies hit the floor :v:
But of course they had to name it the Xtreme Nuke Evolution
Pretty damn awesome. Also, the sound before the shockwave arrives is the ground rumbling.
You may now commence dying from the mass Radiation in the area.
That was pretty.
Lacked a wave of eye candy destruction, FX was still amazing.
It lacked a bulging of the water and shit.
God dammit, Now i have to.... buy? Crysis again.

i think there's a name for that effect but the rumble usually happens in extremely large explosions. its explanation is something like due to sound being able to travel faster through solid mass you hear the low rumble before the shock wave hits you. I think that's the reason why but correct me if i'm wrong.
here's a video that sort of displays the effect

you might need a subwoofer or a listening device with good bass to hear it though
My computers so badass, it cant even run a VIDEO of crysis
I look forward for this modders future work.
