Tier is a lot more moody and Biest is more groovy and dance-like, a direction which would not be bad to hear from Rammstein whatsoever, which they basically had in Sehnsucht

As much as I believe a band's sound should evolve, I fucking love the sehnsucht era and pre-herzelied stuff as well ( like biest, jeder lacht ), and would love it if they returned to that sort of techno-like style they had. It's very prominently against current German-right-wing-extremism in its main message by attacking (one of) their foundational argument(s), but a good chunk of the shock imagery and -lyrics are also targeted against left-wingers going too far. It's hilarious to see people get offended over this and scream bias and for cancellation of TV taxes though, while the video sits at 77% positive ratings :v: There are a ton of cultural in-jokes in this and some of the humour (and admonitory) layers rely on knowing about the general political trends here, so I assume it's in part pretty confusing for foreigners. I don't know if there are articles dissecting it in English yet.
