Michael Joseph Zehaf-Bibeau is listed in court documents as having been charged with robbery in connection with an incident that took place on or about Dec. 16, 2011. The man, then 30, was arrested, did not receive bail, and pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of uttering threats. In February 2012, a judge sentenced Zehaf-Bibeau to one day in jail — as he was given 66 days credit for time already served — and a fine of $100. He also underwent an overnight psychiatric assessment following his arrest. Court documents note that a psychiatrist found Zehaf-Bibeau fit to stand trial, and not certifiable under the Mental Health Act. Previously, Zehaf-Bibeau also had run-ins with the law in Quebec, dating back to the early and mid-2000s. The records appear under three different names, and the charges range from the drug-related, impaired driving, and weapons, to assault, robbery, theft and conspiracy. Of the 13 cases, 12 resulted in convictions. On Wednesday, the suspect was believed to have been shot by Kevin M. Vickers, sergeant-at-arms of the House of Commons. Vickers shot the man in Parliament’s Centre Block during the incident in which at least two people were injured, including a security guard. It is believed the gunman had moved up the street to Parliament Hill after fatally shooting a Canadian honour guard at the National War Memorial. What a terribly sensationalist title...
You took the title and completely made it unrelated.
He's not a fucking terrorist. He's a crackhead. Nothing but.
Guy wasn't a terrorist, he was just someone angry with the government because they kept denying his passport applications.
Another quality thread title from laserguided. The fucking article doesn't use the word "terrorist" or even "terrorism" once! Like come the fuck on.
