Been playing this as part of their pre-order early access thing and it's really pretty good. It's nice to see WH properties being made into games that aren't shit.
Been playing the pre-order early access too, it's a really enjoyable game. Takes the better aspects of L4D and improves on those, all the classes are different enough and fun to play and the customization gives it longevity. The combat is good, tho sometimes the hitreg for ranged attacks can be a bit wonky but I quess that's up to the host.

If so, I would love to play this

I've found it really enjoyable as well, the skaven feel a lot better than zombies as enemies.

It appears to be so far based in an Empire city, I would love to see gameplay of this in action. To me I just imagine it being L4D with scaling rats that run at you with melee weapons and you being all magical and shit. In my heads that's the ultimate mod for L4D, it's probably so much better. I need gameplay...I need it

For example the imperial soldier can wield a 2-handed weapon, giving him the ability to AoE tons of small skavens easily and the ability to penetrate armor with normal swings against the Stormvermin (armored skaven). If you want though, you can pick up a 1-hander with a shield, losing damage output but you can then block much more effectively, being able to tank blows from the smaller Skaven or absorbing Rat Ogre blows etc. All the classes have different options both for melee and ranged weapons, plus trinket slots that usually give some sort of party mechanic to your skills, for example one trinket I have gives all party members 15% of potion effects every time I drink one etc. You can't switch your loadout during a mission though, so unlike L4D you'll be stuck with the weapon set you chose at the inn, for better or for worse. The early access has had something like 5-6 different missions shown out of the 13 that will be available at launch, but some of the take outside the city too. Mainly you'll be in the imperial city though and it looks damn rad.
SPOILERS: [sp]They don't stem the Vermintide after all.[/sp]
