Koei Tecmo doesn't inspire confidence, if you ask me. But Berserk's still damn cool.

Berserk is gonna have a good home as a Warrior's game. With a giant sword like that, he'd be killing dudes by the dozens in one swing! Boss battles are gonna be HUGE!

The fact the reveal trailer is one of the most mentally damaging moments in the manga, I'd say they know what fans expect.
Just been trying to figure which characters are likely to be playable, as Koei has a tendency to get some pretty big character lists in these games:
You'll have the Band of the Hawk, so that's Guts, Griffith, Casca, Judeau, Corkus, Pippin and Rickert at the very least.
More likely than not we'll get Guts' travelling companions, so Farnese, Serpico and Schierke. Isidro MAY be playable, I'm not sure if he's a good enough combatant to take on entire swarms of bad guys. I'd be very surprised if Azan isn't playable as well.
Characters that may make the cut for being playable could include Roderick, Mozgus and his disciples, Daiba the Kushan Sorcerer, The Demon Emperor (Boss character maybe?) and those Kushan ninja dudes whose names I forget.

Hope the game's graphics looked 1/4th as good as the CG in this trailer. The Warriors games always have such terrible graphics and animations.

final level is a qte to step off boat
imo this trailer is a bit in bad taste
slow-crawling tna shots of a graphic rape scene is pretty suss

The video says its coming to PS3. I REALLY hope that it isn't a terrible port. Though its KT so I better not hold my breath.
That being said, I'm excited for this title.
Alright so I've generally avoided this series so far despite it being shoehorned in to a lot of games I like, so now that an actual game is coming out on steam related I guess I should give it a look. Is there a reason the trailer for the game is a chick getting tentacle raped that can be explained without massive spoilers? :v:

Either watch the anime or read the manga. Don't bother with the movies they're awkward to watch and arguably miss characterization that's quite critical. The anime also misses stuff out but it helps establish certain characters better.
But basically without spoiling, this proves they know exactly how to fucking destroy the fanbase mentally in a "we know what makes you tick" way. So far, so good.
tbh you should just read the manga first
