I remember renting the game years ago when I was a kid, I think. Holy shit was the campaign (or story mode whatever it was called) fucking hard as shit. I don't remember the pilot profiles at all, though.

You had to complete a cup in master mode with the driver in order to unlock their movie.
Another thing about GX that was hard as fuck.
