I realize half the games make this gun small af, but in reality this this gun is massive unless it's a mp5k or maybe I'm just a small person I guess

Funny to see how wobbly and erratic the Killing Floor 2 animation is while the Escape from Tarkov guy fires like he's unimpressed by this gun's recoil.
alternate vidoe title: 8 minutes of H&K bolt slap
I love these videos just for showing how different the same thing can be when interpreted by different groups of developers. And on the actual video content, the KF1 is still my favorite. and is it me or does the CS one sound like they used a sound effect meant for something else entirely for it?
Such elegance. Just the right size to fit well in two hands, light enough for a wimp like myself to carry, small and plentiful rounds, intuitive and conventional design, customizable to fit everyone's taste.
Technically the F.E.A.R. one isn't a MP5 as well, just based off the MP5K :v:
These videos are my guilty pleasure.
Technically the F.E.A.R. one isn't a MP5 as well, just based off the MP5K :v:
Well, FEAR also had the "G3A4" which only resembles the G3 in color so... The Killing Floor 2 animations look so fidgety, it's making the MP5 look like it weighs as much as a heavy machine gun. Also the BF3 one is an HK53, look at the magazine, not that I'd rule out artistic license with these sorts of things.
same of these aren't even mp5's. these videos are just stuffing anything that looks like one in. same thing with that m9 video where anything that looked like one was thrown in

That's why sometimes they're given generic names and why sometimes their design is slightly different. [editline]26th September 2017[/editline] That reason is why none of the weapons in MGSV use any real world designs, because Kojima felt it was hypocritical to make an anti-war game while paying arms manufacturers to license their guns.

Even the MP5K with the stock is almost the same length as an M4 with its stock collapsed

Recoil is a big part of keeping the SWAT perk in check compared to perks like commando.
The Battlefield 3 one was actually a HK53, not an MP5 at all?
Battlefield 3 did have an MP5, specifically the MP5k - but for some reason the guy showcased the wrong one
The Battlefield 3 one was actually a HK53, not an MP5 at all?
I mean it's about as close to being an MP5 as you can get without it being an MP5, but yeah. It'd have been nice if BF3 did include a full-size MP5. It's my favourite gun in most games that have one, but I hate the k in most games that have one. Except in Firearms: Source, not that anyone still plays it, but it would fucking wreck for how little it cost. The loadout I got the most abuse for was full heavy armour, a silenced MP5k with suppressor and 30-round mag (And stock on the servers that had it enabled, made no practical difference), and an OTs-33 (Full-auto pistol). Shit was ridiculously OP at close range

And what recoil are you talking about? The MP5 in KF2 is a frickin' laser that you can easily hose down heads with while hipfiring it. If anything, it's the commando weapons that have harder to control recoil.
