Yeah your right, don't drive a mx-5/miata. Get a VW Mk3 instead. Daaaayum.

How about let people drive what they want and don't be an elitist asshole about it lol.

Hey, fuck you guys. They age like milk on the outside, but mechanically they're superb I would strongly advise to never get a soft top, though. No matter what. They never bother to tell you that the drains for rainwater actually run INSIDE the car, make a 90 degree angle for maximum stoppage before the water actually drains out underneath it, causing it to eventually clog and then rust the ENTIRE FUCKING CAR THROUGH TO THE GAS TANK

It's the worst car I've ever owned and I'm literally gonna turn it in to a junkyard in just a couple of days
I drive a shitty clunker that gets me from A to B if people look at my car and go; "Hahah loser" well good for them, cause quite honestly who cares

Dang you gusy learn to take a joke.
Correct me if I'm wrong but soft tops are also notably more dangerous than hard tops if you happen to get in a wreck.
Probably true, soft tops lose a bit of rigidity they otherwise would have. Some cars even handle differently from the hard top version. They make a hard top you can put on mine but I haven't had any luck finding one for sale. It's too old. Not that it would be any different than a soft top in this case
It's not even a Miata...
At what point did the MX-5 and Miata become different things.

They also don't make a non-convertible miata so your only option would be forking out 1K for a removable hard top if your leaks are that severe.
Correct me if I'm wrong but soft tops are also notably more dangerous than hard tops if you happen to get in a wreck.
Which is exactly the reason why most people put down money for a proper roll bar
girls car
Say what you want, but I find it hard to classify a lightweight, RWD, manual car a 'girls' car. If you roll it over without a rollbar, you're fucked. Accident at speeds greater than 55? Fucked.
you guys gotta spread them out more, make carrying speed and momentum a bigger factor than relying on first gear torque hope whoever fell is okay, yo

I always find it amusing that these people take our their shitty cars at night as if they know to be ashamed of what they're driving.
I always find it amusing that these people take our their shitty cars at night as if they know to be ashamed of what they're driving.
what do u drive
I always find it amusing that these people take our their shitty cars at night as if they know to be ashamed of what they're driving.
Or maybe it's because most people have things to do during the day or don't want to get caught as easily.
Or maybe it's because most people have things to do during the day or don't want to get caught as easily.
Sign up for legit drifting competitions and you won't have to worry about "getting caught". And really? Nighttime is the quietest time of day. If anything it makes it easier to catch you. [editline]27th February 2015[/editline]
what do u drive
The city bus. Boo-yaw!
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

I was going to buy one, but seeing that I might see 3 or 4 auto-x events with the car, and 99% of the time It'll be street I'll take my chances
Can confirm MX5 is one of the best cars to own whether it be a daily driver or a weekend car. It's pretty hard to ride in one and not have a smile on your face

I wouldn't get into professional basketball if all I wanted to do was play around with some friends
