Doomguy 2016 is the only guy who has sass levels matching RE4 Leon.
I used to agree with Jim about RE6 but it wasn't until I played it that I realised that he's full of shit yeah it's not nearly as campy as & it has a horrible first impression, but fucking hell Jim how can you call a game where you fight a zombie T-Rex "a serious game for serious gamers" It's not like RE6 got rid of all it's humour either:

he also left out the part where Resident Evil 4 was the only one with new gamepaly not trying to be bloody co-op and force a shitty ai down you're throat
What makes something memorable is its personality. There is a reason stuff like Deadly Premonition is fondly remembered despite having glitches out the ass.
I beat this game so many times on PS2 that I don't even want to buy the HD remasters on steam. I have played it so much that I won't even get any feeling of nostalgia if I played it again because I still remember everything

Except you could tell her to just fuck off into a literal dumpster usually, so she wouldn't bother you. But when you couldn't do that boy was she fucking annoying.
As far as escorts go, Ashley was probably the best ever since she was capable of following you around, ducked when you were aiming at her, and would get behind you when you were shooting so you wouldn't accidentally hit her. The game even gave you options so you could make her go hide so you don't have to worry about her.

And she would get behind you to avoid getting in the line of fire And the whole hide in the dumpster thing. And the 2nd unlockable costumes gave her a full set plate armour, so she was bullet proof and if the ganados/monks tried to kidnap her, they would fall to the ground because she's so heavy. Just play the game with the 2nd set of costumes it makes life so much easier.

It's so weird. I love Resident Evil 4 so much but 5 will always have a place in my heart because of the couch co-op. It was such a great game to play with a buddy.

If you're playing alone, the other character fucks off after the cutscene and goes elsewhere, or they're just some faceless soldier dude/dudette who doesn't appear in any cutscene at all. People who like playing games with others get to keep their co-op and people who like single player don't have to worry about babysitting an actual retard.

what the fuck why havent i played re4 yet is the steam version any good? I heard it needed some restoration project or something to fix it up though or i must be thinking of something else

I remember one particular section where I had to mash something to sprint away from danger and just could not physically hit the key fast enough to do it on 60fps, then I just put the 30fps cap back on and did it first try easily.
