That cam thing above head is cool (if it actually works that way) I had an idea for that for a long time and I'm happy someone finally nailed it. But I don't understand this one life thing. If you die, you leave the game forever? What?

Ok, I checked the website. Apparently you really die forever, you can't play the game again. (Unless you buy it again) that's why it's so cheap.
Holy shit that trailer is amateur as hell. It's like one of those fake videogames you see in movies.
I legit thought that it was a fake trailer. Everything about screams "Fake GTA commercial"
wouldn't trust this if i were you
Looks like the same engine as the WarZ and other such shitty games by Sergei Titov, they've been going under multiple company rebrandings to keep from news outlets detecting them.

Also the developer is Russian and "website" links back to the youtube page. Titov ruse cruise confirmed.

There is a website but it's barren as fuck and only really has screenshots and a preorder button.
hard to tell if the concept is just genuinely this dumb and half-baked or if it's a scam of some kind. i imagine if it is Titov they probably cut even more corners than WarZ, since very few people will get to see the game past a certain point
It's probably going to be more like "One Registry Key to edit".
The best would be that it randomly generated how long you are banned. From 30 minutes to 7 days like cs. That would be much better imo and more thrilling. I don't want to pay again for the same game. [editline]21st October 2015[/editline] So I guess I won't be able to play the full game, if I preorder and play beta. wow
This game is an 12/10 on the retard scale
So what is the actual appeal in this? There's no real payoff if you DO survive, or anything that would make you come back to the game after dying, seeing it looks completely generic. And what does the power over the defeated player mean.Do you get an extra life with every kill and if so doesn't that go against the concept of the whole game then? Also that fake ass explosion smoke on the truck.

I think you should die in real life if you die in this game, then you would had no choice but to accept how shitty idea the game really had.
can't wait for hackers to kill this game off in an instant
No.
The game is real, he had a devlog up, they just changed the name. You can reverse search the images, its on the unity website, I was skeptical too, the trailer just looks that fake. Game's going to be bad, no one will buy it outside of the first week and it'll get dominated by griefers and hackers.
literally this
It's probably going to be more like "One Registry Key to edit".
I think an online game where your death is tied to an account that's stored on their server won't depend on registry keys
I couldn't read any of the text messages because they were placed so awkwardly, not to mention they were animated to switch positions every half second. Raid or others? Other Raid or? But Remember: Die If You
Would probably get more people actually interested if it cost you like $5 every time.. instead of $10.
this really feels like a video that'd accompany an Onion article
It's yet another survival game like DayZ and such, but here they really emphasize the SHOOT PEOPLE CALL OF DUTY STYLE gameplay. Even has infected NPCs running around. what's stopping people from refunding this out the ass, especially if that whole "steam doesn't actually give back their part of the proceeds" thing is true and this jackass loses a lot of money on it?
I understood that if you kill a player you can take his account and later play on his account if you die. Correct me if I'm wrong.
It's literally just that you can choose whether he gets to keep playing the game or not, I'm pretty sure. You have the power to fuck people over a few dollars.
Massive scam
Some people in the other thread thought this was the WarZ team that changed there name Kinda makes sense, they use to blanket ban people at random so they'd rebuy the game. Now it can be an actual business practice.
This would be an interesting concept in a game that isn't about constant fast paced PVP, something like an RPG where combat was slow paced with tactics, retreat, and possibly surrender involved. It's rare to find games that make the threat of dying actually important and not just reload save or respawn and get items back, which is why roguelikes are appealing, except roguelikes are usually pretty bare-bones and simplified.
this only one life thing makes me not want to buy the game.
would be cool if it went in rounds and the winner wins a pot based on how many players join
Is this the sequel to half life?
Is this the sequel to half life?
You might be thinking of a game titled "Half-life 2"
