LONDON (AP) — A British professor who specializes in cities and urban life has been convicted of damaging luxury cars with graffiti that was surprisingly polite.
Stephen Graham was found guilty Friday of using a screwdriver to scrawl inoffensive words such as "very silly," ''really wrong" and "arbitrary" into the paintwork of vehicles including a Mercedes, an Audi, and a Volvo.
Prosecutors said the spree caused 18,000 pounds ($29,000) in damage.
Graham, who teaches at Newcastle University in northeast England, pleaded guilty to criminal damage at Newcastle Crown Court.
Graham's lawyer said the 47-year-old academic had no recollection of his August vandalism spree. Graham previously blamed a bad reaction to alcohol, antibiotics and prescription drugs for his behavior.
Judge James Gos said he would sentence Graham next month.
So if it was a Ford, a Fiat and an Opel, he'd be awesome?

Teachers have really boring blackouts.
The comic/image in the OP isn't correct. Edward is just a word, not a full sentence and thus doesn't even need punctuation.

Nitpicking much?

"What is your name?"
"Edward."
"latin_geek"
No dot there
So yeah, it is indeed a mistake.
What gets me is the damage costs, who knew you could cause so much chaos with a likely £1 screwdriver.
Damaging someones personal property goes over the lines of graffiti, in my opinion.
If you key a Delorean it's almost impossible to rebuff the area back.

misleading title, carving words into cars is vandalism. The only way it would be graffiti is if they tagged it, and even then it's tagging not graffiti
tag (vandalism)

graffiti-tagging (vandalism but usually on un-owned property)

Come on, we have a sizable vocabulary for a reason. You should have used 'is incorrect' instead of "isn't correct".
