The turtles have looked completely revolting since day one and now they're stuck with them
It appears to be a shocking, VAST improvement over the first.
How.
Why do people keep calling it a Michael Bay film? He's producing it, not directing it like the first one (Dave Green's directing). It's like everything he works on something people jump up to scream "Bay had a hand in this! It's his fault!!" Like holy balls I know the Transformers films weren't Shakespeare, but really?
Still, this looks really good, and I'm not a total Turtles fan like I used to.

Bay is less involved.
Was that fucking Krang?

he didn't even direct the first one.

That's what I meant, he produced that film and someone else directed it and that's it.

So how exactly would you make them? There's really no way to make humanoid turtles not look stupid.
Still looks like shit
Still better than the angry birds movie.
And also kkkkkkkrrrrrraaaaannnngggg
Okay, I know it's been put down, but I'm going to at least see it once just for Krang, Bebop, and Rocksteady.
Krang, Bebop, Rocksteady, Casey Jones, Baxter Stockman, Holy shit they're really going all out for this movie

2D animation is really the only medium the turtles have ever looked acceptable in
We either have the horrifying latex suits, or the 3D shrek abominations. Neither look anywhere close to good
Still looks like shit
A really expensive shit at that. With hundreds of millions of dollars (marketing included probably) and countless of man hours behind the creation of it.
And it's still flashy, and gorgeous and witty and sexy and shit. All that in a neat little package. Makes you wish you were one of the teenage mutant ninja turtles. There is some value in it, things that you value even in other movies and films. But it's also "Pegi.. twelve!" and it's for children, and anyone easily entertained, who I'm sure will be blown out of their minds no matter what Superhero-blockbuster you put in front of them.

Here's two extremes:

Now here's halfway between them:

They look like 10.000 times better.
