South Park is the one show that has always consistently made me just feel really good inside. Legit laughs, makes me think, and I love all the characters to this day.
Matt and Trey are gods among men.
The are very very few shows that get me to laugh out loud anymore.
This one does almost every episode.
Fucking brilliant.
I would love it if they would bring Chef back but since the voice actor died it would just feel plain wrong to have someone else replacing him, he was a great character though since he was basically the caretaker of the four whenever they were in trouble
Edit: I also just read that he did not left because of his health which was my first guess but actually because he didn't like how South Park made fun about religion.

He didn't care, really, about that. He was on board with them on a lot of things, I'd heard that he was pretty much forced to leave the show by the church of Scientology. There were no hard feelings between him and them.

They do have a replacement voice for Chef, they used it a couple of times for flashbacks and it sounded pretty good from what I remember.
They'd just rather not have the Chef back I guess.
He actually left because South Park started making fun of Scientology, which he was a part of.
Rumor has it that the " church" put a lot of pressure on him to leave.

Play the Stick of Truth. Chef makes an appearance.
... That Southampton location was really not accurate.
Yeah when I switched schools when I was in 4th grade, I was the most popular kid because I knew most of the lines from South Park the movie. I think I will always love south park

Did you walk around calling kids shitfaced cockmasters?
South Park has been one of my favorite shows for 10 years. I started watching it when I was 10.
South Park is one of the most brilliant shows ever, in my opinion.
This was the first episode that I watched, if memory serves me right.

I'm so glad I grew up in The Simpsons and South Park era. I've been watching The Simpsons since I was 3, and started watching South Park when I was 9 or 10. There's never going to be another show that pushes the boundaries of TV and culture quite like South Park.
It even got me started on my path to being an animator because of a behind the scenes video they aired. Once I learned that the only thing it took to make a cartoon was a camera and some moving images, I tried to copy it and make my own version starring me and my friends. Naturally, any animation made and voiced by a ten year old is going to be pretty crappy, but it was the spark that launched my career.
I'll always love South Park for that.
I remember watching Make Love, Not Warcraft with my cousin and loving it.

Chef was only ever voiced by someone else during the ending gag of his death episode where he was "Darth Chef", which was just a one-off joke, with Stick of Truth showing him being truly dead and buried.
He has never been featured in a flashback/episode since then. I just got done rewatching the entire series so it's all fresh in my mind. Where did you hear this?
first south park episode I saw was the one where the boys and Jesus go to Iraq to save Santa Claus. Good times.
South Park is great. I still like the new episodes and I re-watch them often on their webpage. Also I loved secretly staying up late to watch South Park on MTV at 2 AM in the 90s.
And I still remember when I got my mom to rent the VHS of Bigger Longer and Uncut, the movie was basically to us what Asses of Fire was in the movie. My friend's sister had the soundtrack on cassette and we made plenty of copies with a dual tape deck. The movie and the songs were a great way to learn English.

Yeah, I remember darth chef, he was voiced by someone from Star Wars.
I could've sworn I read on one of the wiki's that they had someone who could do a good impression of Chef's voice but they didn't use it because of Issac Hayes death or something like that.
I can't find it anymore.

Hmm. I'm sure there could be someone out there that would do a good job. But yeah with his death, retiring the character just feels right. Issac Hayes was Chef through and through, you can't change that.
Chef's cameo in Stick of Truth was really awesome for long time fans. Crazy to think that at this point he has been dead for half the series.
He is still such an icon for the show to me, and so many others, after all this time.

I've never watched South Park consistently but I've always loved it. I actually got in trouble at school for wearing a Cartman T-shirt, even though the expletive was just "!@#$!%!".
Damn I miss that shirt.

Why the hell would you get in trouble for that?!
When I was about 13-14 years old, i wore a cradle of filth hoodie, with an angel being fucked by the devil, without ever getting in trouble. :v:
I've still got my original 1997 south park poster hanging in my chilldhood bedroom at my dad's place.
Same goes for my first Playstation game, "South Park Rally", which to me was the Mario Kart of my childhood.
This cartoon has almost raised me through life.
Also, [sp]zbobbybird[/sp]
The Nintendo 64 game was pretty great, too.

If I had to take a guess, would your flag and this song have anything to do with it?
