It's apparently a HD collection of the best levels through Sonic's back catalogue to celebrate the 20th anniversary. [editline]7th April 2011[/editline] Also, no green eyes.

I have hope. Unleashed and Colors were awesome, however leaving the people who did Sonic Advance in charge of an incredibly huge Sonic sequel was a horrible idea. It's cool to see a fully modeled classic Sonic. I can't wait to see what this actually is.

Unleashed daytime stages were pretty poor gameplay wise, but a definite step up. Visually they were amazing, one of the best looking games this generation. Sonic Colors was basically that, only the gameplay was improved ten-fold and was a lot of fun. But being on the Wii, it didn't look anywhere near as good. I hope ([i]pray[/i]) Sega and Sonic Team realize they struck gold with Sonic Colors, if they continue improving on that gameplay style but switch over to their Hedgehog engine on 360/PS3, I think the new Sonic games could be fucking awesome.

I like how it looks like the video itself isn't even finished with all the untextured shit.

Half of me wants to cheer at seeing the classic Sonic being shown in 3D (and separately from his current counterpart at that). Another half of me wants to decry that Sega's losing it. Not sure which half to follow, but i'll probably buy it anyway like the dumbass I am.

I hope they don't fuck it up like the last thousand times, but knowing the current SEGA, who promised us the rebirth of Sonic a lot of times and always failed miserably I'm prepared for a big letdown

If this is just a HD remake of the Sonic games, I'll be happy. I don't want NEW Sonic games.

I'm sorry, but this really evokes nostalgia on me. I can't help but be excited. I know Sega is some how going to screw it up, but seeing chubs return is a big deal for me.

The new sonic games are bad but they get away with it because there are a few loyal fans who buy it anyways so they keep making more.
