I found no news about it, so I guess they just rolled it out a few hours ago, try rebooting your pc, that's what I did just before it updating.

Mine doesn't look like that, but it's close. It's got all the chat changes, but some of the friends list and options changes on the left aren't in. My Skype updated on me by itself when I restarted my computer once. It does seem to have made it marginally faster, though. It's moved from snail to turtle.

I really don't like the changes, to be honest. I've gotten used to them, but I preferred the older style.
