Fuck everything about what he just did. Heights don't scare me but jesus christ this guy's a nut case.
This is stupid and reckless.
Would it really hurt to wear a fucking harness? Like why not? And seriously what the fuck is that knot? Get yourself a carabiner and a sling or something.
i would say this guy has an extremely punchable face in any other case, but considering this video i think the ground will punch his face for me before anyone else does it
this made me weak in the knees
i would say this guy has an extremely punchable face in any other case, but considering this video i think the ground will punch his face for me before anyone else does it
you sound like a swell guy
balls of steel for sure
Roller coasters must bore the shit out of this guy
Correct me if I'm wrong but is that bungee cord literally just loosely wrapped around his wrist? If so, jesus christ
i admire these adrenaline junkies they do the things i'd be shit scared to do for me
It's always russians doing wild shit like this and front flips on the side of buildings and shit.
you sound like a swell guy
I can understand climbing, at least then you have a solid grip on whatever surface you're on. But when you're using a dinky ass rope wrapped around your wrist to swing around; then you're just being an idiot.

I can't believe people are even complaining about this guy doing this. This is fucking badass as all hell, I know I wouldn't have the guts to do anything like this.
I can't believe people are even complaining about this guy doing this. This is fucking badass as all hell, I know I wouldn't have the guts to do anything like this.
Alright explain how is this badass? This is russian roulette with yourself high above ground. There's a difference between being a daredevil and being a moron. You can do the wingjumping once you know what you're doing or you can do shit like this. And the difference is in understanding dangers and compensating them, even if the entire thing is risky. I can tell these people don't know what they're doing just by looking at their knots they've made for the rope. I could do the thing he's doing almost every day at work, but I've been an industrial climber for 3 years now and I know it's fucking stupid to hold the rope like this and bet your life that's it's not gonna slip. If that guy would put a harness and attach the rope properly he could do 200 meter long swing, and people have been doing things like that. That's the difference between a daredevil and a moron.
my palms are so sweaty right now
my palms are so sweaty right now
How about your knees? Arms? Sweater already?
This might sound crazy, but maybe he likes the danger of it all.
Yeah fine. I'm not going to stop him from doing really small swings (what 4 meters long?) with really high probability of dying. His life, his choice. But I have plenty of reason to criticize it and say why it's stupid not badass.
Probably needs to be that long so he can do the full backflip.
You could do a backflip with a longer rope. The trick is to have the rope tighten when you're done doing the flip. That could be done with almost any length. He's only doing 4 meter long swing so if he fucks up the backflip/jump and get's too much freefall it doesn't dislocate this wrist and slip, but that's only because he's chosen to hold the rope instead of strapping it to a harness.

Just need massive forearm strength. Tons of rock climbing will help that.
How about your knees? Arms? Sweater already?
My life is full of heaping servings of regretti.
I know some guys like him though that could probably do this. Just need massive forearm strength. Tons of rock climbing will help that.
Like I said, the trick is to not have too much of freefall. Muscles won't stop your wrist from dislocating.
Like I said, the trick is to not have too much of freefall. Muscles won't stop your wrist from dislocating.
Yup. Gotta engage the swing early on.

it's only a matter of time until we see a pov shot of someone fucking this up and falling [sp]unless that's already out there somewhere[/sp] [editline]21st May 2016[/editline] or like a climber getting freaked out by someone else's drone and falling (and the drone flies down with them and gets it on camera) these videos make me feel ill because i picture a bunch of disaster scenarios like this
This one didn't make me queazy like they usually do. It was missing the sound of wind rushing by
