i do hope people realize this show is written by feminists and ones that most of FP would consider "radical" by their standards.
personally these two characters are probably my favorite in the show, next to the sporadic bits about musicians

the "unit" one is still my favorite.
"every time you say unit, or box, or equipment, I feel a penis here, I feel a penis here, I feel a penis here, I am halfway to pregnant."

It's written by Fred and Carrie with input from their director who seems a little more sporadic than they are. I don't get what you're talking about. If you watched more of the series or knew more about them as a people you'd realize that this is their very own idea and their own work. They don't try to push an agenda through this. They literally said it's to capture Portland's life in a weird, yet semi-real way which, seeing as I live in Oregon, they get pretty spot-on. Their renditions and mocking of different characters they put on is hilariously true and only a little bit exaggerated.

That's why I like it so much. It's so accurate. When people watch it they think it's like 30-70 the 70 being exaggeration but it's probably 80-20, 80 being totally accurate.
I love the city though. One of the most interesting in the world.

Why limit yourself to two features of a woman, there's so much about them to love
As long as everything's proportional, I'm good. I'm a real sucker for cute faces, though.

Fred sightings happen on the reg here in Portland. He drove past me the other day in his brown volvo. Also a lot of people here hate the show because they're so fucking sensitive.

Story time.
A few months ago I went to get a sandwich nearby and I picked something off the menu. The guy working there sighed really loudly and said "really?" I was like... what's happening what is this. He explained to me that he was a vegetarian and he didn't like preparing meat. It was pre-sliced salami off their menu so I was like... "well I appreciate that you don't feel like you're owned by your business but I'd still like the sandwich." He gave me look of mild disgust and returned to his conversation over the bar with his friend about their favorite local artist or indie filmmaker or something heinously hip.
He made me the most spitefully shitty sandwich I've ever tasted. And he gave it to me wrapped up to go even though I was on the back patio having a cigarette and coffee.
Oh my god, these are amazing!
