Dat Simcity4 music. I didn't know he lived in poland. Holy shit Valve get your shit together.
I'm suprised how much space all this takes. That being said I think his fans will donate enough money fast... I just checked and they already raised enough for 720p...
Hes great.
I didn't know he Freeman's Mind was still going on... Doesn't he like, reach the end at some point?
I didn't know he Freeman's Mind was still going on... Doesn't he like, reach the end at some point?
he's just hit the very beginning of Lambda Core, so it's just this one chapter and then two chapters of Xen and it's all over. kind of puts it in perspective how much Machinima was slowing him down
Wow, the source engine is 100x more garbage than I thought it was.
Wow, the source engine is 100x more garbage than I thought it was.
Valve seems pretty stubborn about not going back and fixing things, and mostly just advancing their engine forwards as older compatibility breaks at least once a year.
Wow, the source engine is 100x more garbage than I thought it was.
I use source filmmaker on a daily basis and I can confirm this statistic.
Wouldn't it be easier to let go of motion blur? Is it that important? It seems like he's creating his own tower of duct tape here.
why does he live in poland
why does he live in poland
he likes poles
Very informative, here's hoping that after freeman's mind is done he will move on to other projects, or hopefully continue civil protection. Civil Protection with the power of source filmmaker would be pretty cool.
Wouldn't it be easier to let go of motion blur? Is it that important? It seems like he's creating his own tower of duct tape here.
if people are complaining about the resolution they'll complain about the motion blur too
Wow, the source engine is 100x more garbage than I thought it was.
70% duct tape in volume
I didn't know he Freeman's Mind was still going on... Doesn't he like, reach the end at some point?
He'd probably start HL2 if he's making bank
He'd probably start HL2 if he's making bank
Most likely this, he'll continue with the series going through the sequels.
I'd be pissed if he necessarily stopped Freeman's Mind at HL1. He needs a serial show.
whys he recording at 180fps if he knows youtube only does 30fps
whys he recording at 180fps if he knows youtube only does 30fps
He explained in the video. He records in 180 and compressed to 30 using the extra frames for motion blur.
whys he recording at 180fps if he knows youtube only does 30fps
So he can mash those frames together and create motion blur.
I can't wait for Source 2 to (hopefully) fix all of this BS.
I'm suprised how much space all this takes. That being said I think his fans will donate enough money fast... I just checked and they already raised enough for 720p...
I record my videos at 1080p and about an hour of footage is 100GB.
whys he recording at 180fps if he knows youtube only does 30fps
He does this to accommodate his hacky solution to motion blur.
for the motion blur effect. Oh, I think I was ninja'd
He does this to accommodate his hacky solution to motion blur.
actually rendering the scene 6 times more and blending the frames together is THE way to motion blur - all other ways are done because 6x more rendering isn't feasible at realtime
He does this to accommodate his hacky solution to motion blur.
Technically it's the proper way to do motionblur: frameblending. It's why SMF is so fucking slow sometimes. It also looks good, but takes forEVER to render. IIRC this was 1620 FPS, so it took ~16 hours to render (Accounting for source crashing once)
I can't wait for Source 2 to (hopefully) fix all of this BS.
It'll just add to that "tower of duct tape" I feel. Isn't source 2 being built off current source?
He'd probably start HL2 if he's making bank
HL2 doesn't work well with the freeman's mind narrative since the NPCs talk more to the player.
