(btw if you wanted to check out the youtube video page, there's a recent GOT spoiler there in the comments, just a fair warning.)

It's like the Companion Cube incinerator from Portal. Minus the incinerator part. Terrifying none the less.
Is there a warning about how that works?
It looks more like a giant toilet.

well who said it cant be used as one
I'm surprised that the bottom flap was able to support the weight of an entire person while he was climbing into it.
That must be really fucking terrifying
He will probably be terrified of trash cans for life now. :v:

He is one tragedy away from becoming Trash Man.
There's no way they didn't know how the trashcan worked.
Is there a warning about how that works?
Yes.
The warning is that it's labeled as a garbage can and it's not recommended to insert people in it.
I hope he hasn't seen Star Wars.

But what if I think the person is garbage?
There's no way they didn't know how the trashcan worked.
Yeah I mean how could you not know that it wasn't like every normal garbage can from its outward appearance? It was SO easy to tell.

there was a label under the lid, and it's pretty fucking stupid to climb into a trashcan anyway
how many people used the trash can while they were busy trying to get the kid out
as a toilet or?

Why a parent would allow their child to climb into the trash in the first place is baffling. Why do we need warning labels for common sense? Which I realize is a dumb question, because people are stupid.

It's a dumb question because, while getting in trash bins in general is silly, most trash bins don't have a bottom flap that opens up to a larger container hidden under ground. I sure as hell haven't seen anything like this before this thread. Now, with how long it took him to get inside, somebody in the video probably should've noticed the warning on the inside of the lid.

are we seeing the genesis of danny devito?

It's probably because I'm not in the US but I've literally never seen that disposal system in my life and it seems like plenty of other people have never encountered this system before either.

That looks really expensive for a trash can. Wonder if there are any cost savings with having to empty them less vs the cost of having to dig the hole, make the cool can.
He was a bad egg, Pretty sure all bad eggs go to the furnace.

the only place I've ever seen this system is in Disney World, where in Magic Kingdom the garbage goes into the can and through a chute to an incenerator
Is there a warning about how that works?
How about the fact that you should not climb into it because is a trash can
it should have a pretty obvious warning, at the least so you think twice about what you throw in since you can't easily retrieve it
it looks like it does have a big warning on the lid though
I wonder about the advantages of this system.
Wouldn't it make more sense for it not to have a bottom at all?

This could've ended a lot worse, then.
