BTW, it is not a hijab, it's just a scarf over the top of her head. Hijab would cover all the hair and the neck AFAIK. Plus she wears a skirt with an opening revealing her leg(s). They kind of messed up if they meant traditional clothing.

I always found it strange that they use the word "Tolerant". How society has to "Tolerate" gays and trans people, mass immigration or whatever. Or look how tolerant we are, how progressive our society is.
To tolerate means to put up with and accept despite your reluctance. You tolerate a sore because you know it will go away. You tolerate shit like the KKK existing because to deny their awful opinions would be to deny them the basic rights you also share. You tolerate bad pop music because it's inconsequential and pointless to do something against it
And yet we're always supposed to Tolerate this sort of thing. You could say accept, welcome, invite, host, integrate, etc, but no. It's always "we're tolerant!". It kinda implies that we know this shit is awful but look how great we are for putting up with it!

This is completely 100% false. The Hijab has never been mandated as a thing by the Islamic religion. The Quran states that both men and women should conform to a sense of modesty, which includes body parts, but makes no actual mention of the clothing supposed to be used. This of course means the meaning of modesty is open to interpretation by people allowing Islamic Women to wear whatever the fuck they want.

What you said is not directly related to what I said. Of course it's bad when women are forced to wear hijabs. Nobody is arguing in favor of forcing women to do that in this thread.
