I can get a gist of what he's saying in certain sentences I think, but then there are some sentences where I can't tell what the fuck he's saying at all.
It's almost like a completely different language to me.
Some of the things he's saying sound like American English. It's cool thinking that once upon a time, there would only have been a small pocket of English speakers, and from that group evolved all the accents we have today. I'm actually doing my EPQ on why British accents are so varied.

I took a british literature class in my senior year and we had some guest speakers who sounded just like him. Eventually you get used to it, and I was able to make out what he said.
