The thing i like about Grade is that he actually researches his shit. This is not just a flat out rant towards someone like most people do against the Dear Fat People video but he actually went through it and found a lot of actually valid points backed up with arguments.

Well for one making a video about her isn't the same as sharing her videos directly as she's not making any revenue from it. Secondly, he includes the relevant parts of her videos so that there's no need to go and watch her videos to understand what he's talking about.

Well, his comment was more "don't share a video that makes you feel bad, and cause her to gain more ad revenue" rather than "don't share her videos because she's garbage."
But I kinda agree with you. Like, he made points about how her videos weren't very popular when they were empowerment videos, or when they were begging for sympathy, and that she likely made the "Fat People" video for attention because controversy brings attention.
Meanwhile, Grade's been making videos based on other channels, seemingly to start controversy in order to increase views. Channels such as Ray William Johnson (to be fair, he is an awful thief), VeganGains (3 videos on him in a row), Reaction Channels (specifically Jinx, who again, is pretty talentless but has a lot of traffic), and now this talentless 'comedian'. Currently, about 1/5th of his videos (7 out of 30) are about other Youtubers (plus one about the Kardashians).
However, he doesn't seem to only do it for the controversy around the channels and personal gain- he's more focused on pointing out the flaws with those individual channels, and channels similar to them, since he wants Youtube to be a place of genuine content creators, as opposed to thieves, laziness and people who start false causes to gain traction and followers for profit.
Personally, I do like the videos where he does call out other channels, but I can understand it might seem hypocritical when he calls one out for "riding on others' fame and controversy". Because, to an extent, a handful of his videos are made to do that, by directly focusing on other people who have gained/had a lot of attention.
I feel like his channel may be necessary in the mess that is youtube, though. If he gains followers for being the channel that calls 'Youtubers' out on their shit, it might help the community altogether to work on better content, and shame channels that make easy, click-bait content by drowning them with dislikes and better videos.
And if he gains subscribers for being the man that's "mad at everything, but very relatable in his rants", that would be great too.

they're well made videos for sure but they're nowhere near as relatable as the first vids he made before he started getting on this sort of crusade against youtube hypocrites

Yeah listening to him rant about and "expose" YouTubers is super uninteresting to people that don't care about the trainwreck that is the YouTube "community".
