Holy shit! Look at that style, look at those drawings, look at literally [I]everything[/I] being animated. The sheer amount of things that can be discovered on that thing. Holy jesus that is a masterful program. Fuck, Encarta Encyclopedia wasn't this much fun by the looks of it.

I read the "New Way Things Work" when I was a kid all the time. Its probably the pinnacle of explaining something in a way everybody can understand. Seriously when I think about how VCRs work and stuff, a significant amount of time an illustration from this book comes to mind.
But like LGR mentioned, I never knew there was an electronic version. I would have been all over that shit.
Oh snap, there's a [i]digital[/i] version of this book? This, CC2, and Zap! were the three biggest learning tools for me as a kid.
