Exile Vilify - The National, My Entry for the Exile Vilify Contest. - General

Oh look, a generic Portal 2 spoiler-full walkthrough Exile Vilify music video! Seriously, people have this much creativity?

It isn't very creative, it's just like every other entry for this contest, random pans of particularly uninteresting parts of the game.

Notice how it's original, isn't some flythrough of left 4 dead levels and also has a lot of cool references. Yours is just some clips from portal 2. You are missing the point, it's supposed to be a music video what the national could use.

Why don't people have the camera going in and out of portals?

What do you guys expect, its a sad and slow song. Chances are your going to get a video that has sad/depressing/abandon environment and is somewhat slow.

All you've really done is do map flybys with the song in the background. It's pretty unoriginal. I'll give you credit for it being well done, but the actual creativity is pretty low.

Actually, I wanna take a upbeat mix of this song and use it for some Co-Op or something like that. It needs to be ridiculous.

I'm not sure. I couldn't quite say HOW it would sound, but one night I was sitting there, and a beautiful mix of Robots FTW and Exile Vilify popped into my head. I wish I could remember and replicate the sound.

When I saw the silhouette of the "iven" in "Given", I thought of A broken monitor flickering the "iven" on a bit after the first part of the word. Also, for the marbles on glass part, maybe you should put the "Glass" off to the right on its own, and have little dots bouncing along it and over the edge?

I seriously can't think of something to make apart from something very sappy and boring. Don't want to use portal or gmod footage.
