YouTube user, STiP0, has managed to acquire rare footage of the motion capture sessions that were used in cutscenes for Dead Rising 1. It's pretty interesting stuff. His channel is full of interesting Dead Rising related content and he is constantly going through the files of the first game and has managed to discover sprinting animations for Frank, unused animations for Zombies that were seen in the early builds of the game and a ton of other stuff. I highly recommend giving his channel a good look.
He also owns a beta version of the first Dead Rising, however, it's close to the final game and there's only a few differences here and there, all of which can be found on his channel.

This game was awesome, why can't they port it to PC, it's better than the sequels imo.
The animation looks kinda awful but I really wish the game was on PC anyway. I tried Dead Rising 3 but it runs so badly for me.
I wouldn't be surprised if they did an hd re-release of it. It's such a timeless classic. The sequels never got to the quality of the first.

I don't see how, I found Dead Rising 2 and Off the Record to be better in almost every way. There's more interesting ways to kill zombies, the follower AI is no longer garbage, the controls are better, and the aiming no longer feels like shit. And Off the Record finally added auto saves and a survival mode that doesn't feel like a total chore.
Though a PC version of DR1 would still be pretty great.
Here's another video, it's a pre-Dead Rising version of "Justified", the song that plays at the end of the credits.

I felt like the unlockable moves in DR1 are the best compared to the other moves you get in the sequels, plus throwing shit got MASSIVELY nerfed after the original, once you were maxed out in strength and throw, you could turn handfuls of diamonds into a pretty fast firing shotgun that decimated crowds. Picking up park benches and mowing down 20 zombies with a single throw was satisfying as hell too. Plus the Real Megabuster in Dead Rising 1 still trumps every other end-game unlockable in the other DR games. Though I do love Arthur's Armor in 2, it sucks that you can't choose to just wear the full suit without it breaking from a good solid hit. Like yeah I know that's how it worked in GnG but it sure does suck walking all the way back to suit up.
I heard that in the dead rising alpha, Jessica was black, buti never saw proof of it.
