Muslim prisoner shows his Luxury Life in Dutch Prison

This prisoner clearly thinks he is living the life of luxury as he takes us on a tour of his cell.
As well as the phone he is filming on, his room is packed with gadgets including a TV and PlayStation.

Why is he allowed to have a phone and Playstation?
Why is he allowed to have a phone and Playstation?
Why wouldn't he?
Why wouldn't he?
Because it's prison?
Why is he allowed to have a phone and Playstation?
Because our recidivism number is a lot lower than the US's.
so you basically joined Facepunch to post this?
Holy shit a playstation
I'm pretty sure this is not a prison. It looks more like a social service institute, and we have a lot of those here. Maybe this one is centered around housing low-risk criminals or something.
wow his life in prison is already better than my life outside
Because it's prison?
Right, should have chained him to the wall and whipped him till he bled every day right? That'll show him to fear authority and become a good citizen instead of just not get caught next time. Criminals are less likely to repeat offend if they feel they have a place in society when they get out. The reason there are so many repeat offenders in the US is primarily because ex-cons are completely alienated by society, why the fuck should they care about obeying laws or playing nice with a society that doesn't give a single fuck about them?

Also why does it matter what the prisoner's religion is, OP? Clearly joined just to to push a shitty racist agenda?

I'm pretty sure they're currently using that prison to house refugees temporarily
Because it's prison?
It's just a phone and a playstation :v:

Right, but the point of prison is to be punished. Aka denied rights. That's like the basic idea of prison.

Maybe in the traditional sense, but in more humane parts of the world the purpose of prison is to protect society.

How about rehabilitation into a working member of society?
Oh, it's another one of those. You know, without context those videos and articles about the same shit are just worthless.

If you want to start a discussion/argument on a social issue on Facepunch, just post a short out of context video.

you want to deny as many human rights as you can get away with and yet Saudi Arabia is the shit country

I wasn't saying go that far. But things like cell phones can used to contact outside parties for contraband and etc
I wasn't saying go that far. But things like cell phones can used to contact outside parties for contraband and etc
Mobile phones are banned for prisoners, but like I said these are refugees
Why is he smoking weed in prison?
I wasn't saying go that far. But things like cell phones can used to contact outside parties for contraband and etc
Phones are contraband. But they get smuggled in.
In the kid-jails (sorta) they also have Playstations and stuff, most of the time mobiles (guards know about it, don't do shit), they all have access to drugs and shit..
It's just all bullshit here.
Fuck da police..
But the food laying around and all the other stuff pretty much tells yes it's a refugee. Dutch prisons don't do two prisoners in one cell of the size as far as I know.
Why are refugees in prison?
Why are refugees in prison?
There's a ton of beds, amenities and everything already set up, as long as you don't lock the doors it's basically a very secure hostel :v:

I love the US prison superintendent's view at 3:30. Its genius, why shouldn't the prisoners be left to their own devices to fix their problems, I mean its worked out so far right? I hope that we can overhaul the broken healthcare system with the same mindset, it shouldn't be the hospital's responsibility to rehabilitate the patients. Sick people need to realize its their actions that got them into this situation, and only a good hard look in the mirror will cure their diseases.
