Mr Putin urged both sides to stop military action in eastern Ukraine, adding that his views and those of his Ukrainian counterpart were very close. ... "Our views on the way to resolve the conflict, as it seemed to me, are very close," he said, referring to a phone conversation with Mr Poroshenko. He said he was proposing a seven-point peace plan: • The Ukrainian army and eastern rebels should stop "active offensive operations" • Ukrainian troops must pull back to a distance where they would be unable to shell population centres • International monitoring of the ceasefire • No use of military jets against civilians • "All-for-all" prisoner exchange without preconditions • Humanitarian corridor for refugees and to deliver aid • Restoration of destroyed infrastructure. Mr Poroshenko's office initially reported that a "permanent ceasefire" had been agreed but later revised its statement.
But is that really a peace deal? You'll still have separatists with guns and tanks and there's no mention of them fucking off
But is that really a peace deal? You'll still have separatists with guns and tanks and there's no mention of them fucking off
I thought that was what stopping active offensive operations meant.
"ukraine go away also pay for reparations"
"Peace agreement"? More like surrender conditions. "Ok, just lie back and think of England, Ukraine."
"Give us guaranteed access to your warm ports, wheat fields, and agricultural land; and we will let you live in peach around Chernobyl" P sweet deal
"Give us guaranteed access to your warm ports, wheat fields, and agricultural land; and we will let you live in peach around Chernobyl" P sweet deal
Rest in peach Ukraine
Rest in peach Ukraine
I just wish the Russian people suddenly wanted to impeach Putin, like if photos were leaked of him having sex with a Siberian tiger or a large bear. I mean, he's essentially an evil Russian Saxton Hale from how he's portrayed himself, so if it was revealed that he not only fought wild animals, but also fucked them, that would totally ruin him and his plans. That said there is the risk of him having groomed a successor...
The Ukrainian army and eastern rebels stop all offensive operations. Well I don't see Russian military anywhere in there.
Its basically just asking them to hand over Eastern Ukraine to Russia, not gonna fly.
You couldnt trust Russia to uphold previous agreements so why believe that they will stick to this.
I honestly want to see nobody ever agreeing to Russia. They're treaty breakers, and they should feel the consequence.
Why can't they just nuke this bald midget to hell?

Even if he has a very strong propaganda mill there's been very credible evidence that he has complete control over getting re-elected.
I'm surprised it's not just " give ukrain to russia we give peace "
Why can't they just nuke this bald midget to hell?
Because he would nuke back.
Why can't they just nuke this bald midget to hell?
that would be the worst thing that could be done about this and if comes to it we're looking at some serious shit
Why can't they just nuke this bald midget to hell?
If it comes to deploying nuclear devices against each other, nobody wins. Full stop.
Yeah nukes are OP. Infinity Ward please fix. I'd honestly rather the world be swamped with armoured battle bears than get nuked.
So we're pulling a georgia v2? RU used to fight them untill NATO said stop, not Tblisi; or else we intervene. Then they basically agreed that parts of Gergia would not be Georgia anymore. I guess that might happen here, with Luhansk&Donetsk regions instead of South Osetia and Abkhazia. oh and Crimea...
just photoshop him having sex with a man in a russian orthodox church, they'll throw him away in siberia till it melts from global warming
They'll just (rightly) dismiss it as a propaganda piece.
"Okay Ukraine .. don't get any nukes and we keep the peace .. k? I 'promise' not not to invade you again."

Didn't he say he'd get Kiev in like 2 days if he wanted to just a few days ago?
That's not a peace agreement, that's a surrender. He wants them to disengage and pull back, essentially handing over all contested territory to the Separatists.
I really hate the stream of Rhetoric Russia has put out in the last month. It's like they think nobody has a clue what is really going on.
"Ukraine, we'll stop shooting at you if you just give up territory that's rightfully yours" is all I'm reading
Hasn't this happened before in some capacity and the Separatists didn't listen and proceeded to attack the Ukrainians regardless and they couldn't do anything to respond or they'd be in the wrong. AKA A big fuck you.
They're trying to pull the whole "soviet propaganda" bit without realizing that we live in the era of instant information. It's like they're not used to having their propaganda-machine fact-checked.
