They're half-right. People can easily learn four chords on a ukelele, play them and post it on youtube because that's what a lot of others girls (edit - and guys, as well as using other instruments) have done to get attention.
But to actually learn to play a ukelele, not as much mastering but having a great understanding of it, is tough, just like most instruments.
Easy to play, a challenge to [i]actually[/i] learn it.

ukelele is cool because it's easy to play a couple chords and sing over it. it's good if you are a singer who can't be bothered with learning guitar. plus it sounds good with days n daze songs

You could literally strum the open strings of a regularly tuned one and you're already playing a C6
You know it's worth to pick up the guitar. If you don't know the joy of discovering an instrument in a deeper level you should definitely learn how to play an instrument before you die. I will never regret putting so many hours in learning the blues on the guitar.

Ukelele's are also really cheap, i recommend it because if you decide playing isn't for you then you haven't spent much
what's throwing me off is that the intro of the song literally uses a ukelele and she's not even following it
