PS4, XBOX, Steam... where the fuck is Nintendo?!
Good that nine and ten are getting a physical release, though I hope they release a collection containing the first and second of the collections along with a collection having the Mega Man X games.
Switch can't handle it.
lol The first Legacy Collection is on 3DS which (based on my experiences) plays just fine. I don't know why they couldn't put this one on Switch.
Where the hell is Mega Man and Bass? There's literally no reason to not include it. Throw the Game Boy games in there too, they were great. I didn't buy the first collection because I had no reason to own the original six again, but I do kind of want this one as I never got 9 and 10. I don't like the idea of rewarding Capcom for this lazy shit though. We should have gotten 1-10 plus Megaman and Bass all in the first release to begin with. Mega Man Anniversary Collection had 1-8 plus the 2 arcade Fighters games and that was back in 2004.
I wasn't expecting a second one, but then I still haven't bought the first because i've felt that $20 is too much for a glorified NES collection of six games with challenges and google image search artwork ontop. Getting a second collection with only 4 games, two of which are easily the most maligned and disliked in the main 10 games, only sours that further because it'll probably be just as expensive.
It was a joke.
Well, alright, I wasn't quite sure. The joke kinda fell flat to me anyway due to my prior knowledge :v:
How are they emulating the PS1 games on Xbox One without conflicting with Sony? Nintendo emulators can run on metal but PS1 emulators need a bios
If they're doing what they did last time, the porters are basically recreating the games tit for tat, right down to the performance issues in Mega Man 3, rather than actually emulating them.

What a valuable collection. I'm sure Mega Man fans will love the opportunity to play 7 and 10 again, the most beloved games in the franchise.
You might as well just try and get the Anniversary Collection for PS2 or Gamecube if you can. The fact that 8 is in there though makes me a little personally invested. Megaman 8 was one of my first Megaman games and I remember liking it a lot as a kid even though a lot of people make fun of it.

A lot of people give it shit for being another retro throwback maintaining MM2 rules, but it's a solid game in its own right. 7 isn't that bad either, and had some neat things like justifying level revisits for secret routes and unlockables, but it was kinda bland. Personally 8's my black sheep, I just never really got into the game and it felt badly designed compared to the rest of the Classics.

Nintendo emulators can run on metal but PS1 emulators need a bios
Konami has already ported Castlevania SoN using an emulator to XBLA. Besides, some Playstation emulators have simulated bioses so they don't require a Sony one.
