someone should make a game sort of like uplink except you're the victim of a virus attack and you're playing a bunch of minigames like warioware or something to keep your files from being deleted
bonus points if it has some hardcore mode that deletes the game files off your computer making you reinstall it :v:

Desert Bus seems like an interesting game to plant a jump scare into, showing some type of a horrifying face in the rear view mirror possibly.
Or maybe you could have your surroundings get progressively creepier very slowly until the climax.
Or maybe even worse, continuing after the climax by having you guess in paranoia when the next one is going to happen, while possibly including segments that fool you into thinking that everything returned to normal. This game has an immense mindfuck potential.

I always thought Ambulance was kinda funny. Instead of damaging the computer, it simply displays an ASCII ambulance driving across the screen when an infected .com file is launched.

My friend way back when got infected with a virus that put a giant fish on your screen that just swam around. If it swam over an icon, the Icon would disappear, same with text

I've done quite a few malware removals. Shit fucking sucks, especially rootkits.
Still fun to watch, it's like watching stuff explode. Destructive spectacle without having to damage your stuff.
Worse virus I got was a ransomware that was hidden in some shady mod files for garrysmod.
Worst virus I got was some virus that would spawn cockroaches on your screen and they would "eat" whatever they moved across.
