Dem ancient aliens man - Someone wasted 3 hours and 10 minutes debunking the retardedly improbable.

Seriously. Why is that even necessary. Such a waste of time and money. "Guys! Hey guys! Ghosts aren't real! No hear me out! I spent 3 hours and 10 millions explaining why they're not real!"
That's like making a 4 hour feature documentary about why it's true that Gravity prevents you from hovering off into space.
I think the idea is to point out that the History channel has turned into stupid dribble and lies instead of actual history.

If people just dismissed other conflicting beliefs as completely invalid without offering any sort of counter argument, logic, reason or evidence, then nobody would get anywhere. There would be no constructive dialogue and no reason for believers to change their views. They would look at detractors and say, "They can't give me any reasons why I'm wrong, so I must be right! They know it too, and that's why they aren't really trying to prove me wrong."
Even if it's entirely obvious to you that there aren't ancient aliens, it's still incredibly important that you validate and reinforce the fact with evidence. That is why this isn't a waste of time and money, but a constructive addition. If it changes even one mind about the ancient aliens hypothesis, then it will have been a success.
I watched the whole thing the last time it was posted here (yeah you're late) and i found every second of it extremely interesting! not because it debunks the obvious but because i'm always interested in seeing how the ancient civilizations built their monuments. if you're a fan of ancient history you'll find this very interesting!

The only times i watch the History Channel are on special dates (D-Day, Remembrance Day etc.) because they have specials on. The "History of us" episodes i've watched have been interesting so far, nothing else is worth watching imo.

No it's not. It's entirely a question of burden of tangible and proper non- "just go with it" proof on the part of the people with the dogshit insane belief. That's how rational thinking works.

Why are you so pissed off at this? I knew that this show was just a shitty ratings grab but I didn't know why the ancient aliens show was wrong, this does a good example of explaining it. I enjoy learning about ancient civilizations and what the world was back then. The entire purpose of you making this thread is to denounce the creator for doing something that you seem stupid and a waste of time.
Holy shit thank you for posting this. This is actually interesting, it's entertaining to see the AA guys get buttstomped and at the same time I'm learning about history. Just finished the whole Pyramid of Giza thing. God damn that's a theory I never heard before.

Wow. Calm down. All i said was that if we accepted their words with this bad reasoning, we'd be retarded. This video is absolutely a waste of time, because research supporting the Humans built all the stuff that we happened to build back then, has already been conducted and it's painfully obvious that the show is one guy who didn't research anything just citing a book written by someone else who ignores the facts and decides that different genres of stone are interchangable.
Here's a "tl;dw" for anyone who's not got a couple hours:

Just finished it. Wow, that was interesting. I think they went a little overboard near the end, but overall it was informative and very to-the-point.
On a similar note, all the animals that were on Animal Planet migrated to Nat Geo Wild. Animal Planet's current tagline is "Suprisingly Human". :v:
So it's pretty obvious to me that these are step by step debunks done on an episodic basis that corresponds to the show itself. It's really well done and extremely interesting, but I think that he should have released these as separate episodes that correspond to the show to hold people's very short attention spans.
No, they are not done episode-to-episode. They are done in order of the locations/artifacts/scriptures themselves, and an episodic format wouldn't work due to the massive variances in length between each debunking. Some are quite large, whilst others are quite small.

Each episode of ancient aliens is done involving one site. Each of the segments is done on a particular site. It's kinda hard to argue that they don't match up when THEY HAVE SEGMENTS IN THE VIDEO ITS SELF SEGREGATED BY TOPIC.
The length thing can be compensated for, its something that one has to take into account when choosing an episodic format and there are ways to get around that. They don't have to be uniform and if some of the smaller ones are too small on their own they can be bundled together. 3 hours just seems excessive for the internet age. Even though I enjoyed it immensely every time this is posted invariably a few people go "This is too long". They have a point and if one were to go for a mass consumption sort of thing (Which would be the only way to change peoples minds who watch Ancient Aliens) a more accessible format should be sought.
So glad this was posted. I was so easily charmed and fooled by the glory of the Ancient Alien Theory as I SO wanted it too be true, I feel much smarter already :D

this documentary is a direct counter not only to the ancient aliens series but the thousands of people who believe in the theory
