They use leetspeak. oh man
:byodood:
Why do I find it hard to believe that people who can't even tell the difference between "there" and "their" in standard chat room conversations, are supposed to be adept at writing lines of code and hacking into servers.
Reportedly, the damage was done by a subset of the infamous Anonymous hacker collective
5 bucks says that if that's true, Anon is gonna deny any involvement in this again.
What a shame.
With all theese high profile security breaches lately, I wouldnt be suprised if something massive like a stock market got hacked within this year.
I am probably wrong but this smells like viral marketing. Though if it is, it's very "unappealingly" done.
5 bucks says that if that's true, Anon is gonna deny any involvement in this again.
Anonymous can't confirm or deny it. They are not one entity. They are lots of individual people using Anonymous as a scapegoat.

Hack major sites Blame 'Anon' Get away with it
What a shame.
What a rotten way to hack
Hack major sites Blame 'Anon' Get away with it
IIRC they even mention in the full chatlog that they picked names of people they didn't like, potentially dragging them with them or even placing the blame entirely on them.
Ugh, that chatlog reminds me of how one of my friends used to type before they decided to hate all their friends and went off to do computer science at some other sixth-form.
What a bunch of retards, what drives people to do this.
The sad bastards just want someone to pay attention to them.
Wow, what nerdes.
Ugh, I hate people like this.
god DAMNIT IT CHIPPAY
[16:07] one thing that would be funny
hilarious i love hacks they make me laugh
Anonymous can't confirm or deny it. They are not one entity. They are lots of individual people using Anonymous as a scapegoat.
And unfortunately the media is either too fucking stupid to realize this or too sensational to care
That title instantly made me nostalgia and remember System Shock 2. View YouTUBE video http://youtube.com/watch?v=5iZMD_eCpEo The proto-GlaDOS. re-installing. [editline]13th May 2011[/editline] But yes, this is very irritating.
I'm guessing it was a reference
WHY DO YOU FIND IT SO EASY?
It's never been easy.
Anonymous can't confirm or deny it. They are not one entity. They are lots of individual people using Anonymous as a scapegoat.
That's the whole joke. They'll happily claim about how they've got no leaders or authority or whatever and claim attacks but when shit gets real serious, they'll swiftly say 'aw hell naw, that weren't us'.
Using information gained by checking out server logs which might contain IPs or other "fingerprints" of the attackers. Proxies can be penetrated by professionals. Edit: So basically tracking anyone who did the attack.
notice a trend with Japanese companies?
I wonder if Eidos or Square has some kind of marketing genius that can somehow pull this around and use the hack to generate publicity. That would be the ultimate middlefinger to these assholes. Claim that the augmented mercenaries engineered the hack or something.
5 bucks says that if that's true, Anon is gonna deny any involvement in this again.
anon isnt an organisation by the way
Why are they doing this? The new Deus Ex actually looks like a pretty fucking awesome game. Also, master computer skills is handy.
