It'd be interesting if he ended up like Abe Lincoln, trying so many times to be elected, then finally getting the position and being amazing. Who knows?
Sorry to burst your bubble but Lincoln wasn't as good as you thought he was
Except being the president to be in office during the most bloody war in American history and bringing an end to slavery when most of the country wanted it? But seriously, Ron Paul is probably one of the more sane and stable candidates in the GOP although some of his policies are really scary and big.

Dear god I hate political commercials.
Why can't the US have a single campaign for anyone that doesn't speak negatively of someone else. And you call yourself integrous, mr. Paul?
Funfact; Ron Paul didn't make this ad, his fans did.
You're correct, my mistake. Still, in general, American politics are so unintegrous.
American politics is like a fucking reality TV show, no wonder the country is so screwed up right now.
What annoys me most about American politics to be honest, is that you need tons and tons of money to run. This means that the country is virtually run by corporations. Here all I need to run and have a chance of winning is an ideology people agree with.
I have to get out of this shitty country
American politics is like a fucking reality TV show, no wonder the country is so screwed up right now.
You don't live here so how do you know if it's screwed up or not?
"Ron Paul said no to the bailout" That's a bad thing. Unless you really really wanted out economy to have collapsed. If there was a way to not have that happen and not have had the bailout and only have the banks suffer AND NOBODY ELSE then yes it was a good thing. But that wasn't going to happen
whats wrong with STD vaccines?

But that wasn't going to happen
No it's not a bad thing, the bailout was the most pointless colossal waste of money. It did jack shit to save anything and our economy still collapsed.
Our country is screwed up, maybe you should look at how shitty our economy has gotten, or how bad our infrastructure is compared to every developed country on the planet.
Our country is no more screwed up than any other country in the world and in fact is a lot better off than the majority. Our economy as well as the world economy is down the shitter. You'll find the same economic problems all over the world. What makes you an expert on infrastructure in other countries? It just seems like you're repeating things you've heard in the media.
Our country is screwed up, maybe you should look at how shitty our economy has gotten, or how bad our infrastructure is compared to every developed country on the planet.
It's not doing the best and it's only getting worse but it will pick back up sometime, it always does.

He said weed is okay so that's all I need to know. :downs:
Just gonna go ahead and leave this here
I'll take that and raise it with this
I don't understand what is wrong here. The crowd cheering would be analogous to a situation where politicians are talking about flood insurance. Consider a person that decided they had little risk of flood and did not get the insurance. They should be responsible for their own action, and if a flood hits them, the government nor the community should be obligated to come to their aid. Certainly you hope they make it out alright, but you don't want them to do so at your expense.
There are some parts of this statement that I disagree with, but I agree semi.
American politics: This guy is shit. That guy is shittier. This guy is gay. That guy touches little boys. This guy will bring the end of the world. That guy is a polygamist. It's a bunch of overly rich people trying to make the other competitors look like shit. And the media eats all the shit up and regurgitates it back to us.
