It is a wildly successful show, and sells incredibly well with the release of the season box sets. I fully believe that piracy isn't hurting the show at all.
What a shock, maybe other companies'll take notice and won't act as if piracy is the cause of all the worlds ill.
I watched the second season online and it was so good I pre-ordered it.
Considering the fact that it is impossible for some people to watch it legally, this is all well and good.
In related news, HBO has decided not to pay this particular director, stating that "cultural buzz" should be enough to put bread and milk on the table.
Watch show online; Buy Series Box set for children; Win win
Watch show online; Buy Series Box set for children; Win win
Maybe i'm misunderstanding what you are saying, but why would you buy this show for children? It isn't exactly the most appropriate thing ever.
Hold the fuck up! I'm in england and my now ex girlfriend was american. america gets all the cool shit before us so we would just pirate shit all the damn time and watch them online or something. We did this for season 1 but when it came to season 2 i woke the morning after downloading it to a phonecall from her asking if i got a weird email. we got a fucking warning from the producers basically saying "morning fucker..you pirated out shit..delete it or we fuck things up for you" both weirded the fuck out we deleted the episodes and nothing more was heard from them. When we searched around we heard rumours there were some pirates that were uploaded by the creators and had trackers or something in them to see who was downloading them so out of paranoia we didn't tried again. still only seen season one. saw like 4 eps of season 2 on a plane flight once (User was banned for this post ("Warez" - Orkel))
Considering the fact that it is impossible for some people to watch it legally, this is all well and good.
Exactly. Here in Norway season 1 and 2 aired 6 months after the US premiere. They said they see no reason to air season 3 because HBO makes them wait so long.
I'm going to start watching it legally now that it is finally possible to watch HBO online in sweden
They tell me this after I just bought the entire second season yesterday (Greyjoy cover, fuck yeah) :v:
I'd totally watch the show if it wasn't exclusive to sky, instead I have to watch video streams of it.
I feel like the news site is over-interpreting his words beyond what he actually meant.
