I'm pretty curious to find out what that "warning" the Vasari rebels are telling everyone at the end, only 2 more months! [editline]2nd April 2012[/editline] Super late! http://facepunch.com/threads/1174076?highlight=sins+of+a+solar+empire
God I love these games. This is gonna be fucking awesome.
I never quite got the hang of the first one- every game I played always ended in a complete deadlock. Hopefully this brings the same amount of awesome to the table..
Always been interested in Sins, but never got around to getting it. Probably due to the games being even bigger timesinks than Civ5 :v: But still interested. Might have to get this, didn't know they were making another. Seems like this is the only RTS release this year I know about that will be good and/or known.
I can make a "how to play" video if you guys want, it's not terribly complicated but then again I've been playing since the first beta of the first game
my economy always sucks in this game [editline]2nd April 2012[/editline] sc2 skills definitely don't transfer
Is there controlled 3-Dimensional movement, like in Homeworld?
Yes but it doesn't get you any advantages and is kind of pointless. most of the time ships won't automatically use the Z axis that much (they do occasionally).
I do not have the attention span to play these games.
Such a cool game. Watching this makes me want to get back into playing them. Just need to set aside a few hours everyday to actually finish a game lol
I love these games, nobody ever can sit down and play a full game with me though lol.
I love these games, nobody ever can sit down and play a full game with me though lol.
The save feature is the best thing ever to happen with big scale RTS games like this. Well, just turn auto save off at least. It turns out that when I loaded from an auto save, the game between my friend and I would slowly deviate from each other and we would be playing two separate games with different outcomes for when we invade and shit :v:. I have no idea how that even works.
