That would make the case too big to fit on the drone, a drone usually supports only the official GoPro skeleton and adding a external mic means that it needs to fit without a skeleton or with a custom one making it bigger/heavier.

Nah it works, but it's only for specific people. You should go to at-least once in your life, but it might not be for you.
