Wow, I felt so bad I started thinking it was my fault he was crying.
It's rare to see a man of such age cry - and it really hits home when it does happen.
I don't know whether to feel glad or sad.

First I felt bad, then I rememberd that he got fat by himself and it's his fault he is in that situation.
Stress is bad for you, it increases the glucose production in your body which can end up making you fat.
And stuff.

Some people have different equilibrium weights. It probably isn't all his fault, but he will most likely just get fat again if he recovers.
I feel sorry for this guy, but like you I can't help but think it is partly his fault.

I doubt he would ever get fat again, a fear of his past self would probably keep him in shape. If he does lose it, then he will be in the best shape of his life because his body had to carry that weight down to a healthy level.

At first I felt it was justified, after all he did make himself that fat. But then again, he's to the point where he literally can't make any money of his own. I guess it makes sense though, the state shouldn't pay for people who refuse to help themselves.
There should be a program or something kinda like unemployment, you get paid for a few months and if you don't show any signs of losing weight then your benefits go away. The healthcare leeches lose benefits and the people who honestly want to fix their lives will continue to get money to sort their life out. :unsmith:

People can be born to be fat, but I don't think he is this overweight just by nature.
