Looks pretty awesome! Also, American terrorists are Patriots.
Looks pretty cool, but with the trailer I am unsure of who the hell you will play as in this game.
It was weird hearing people cheer (The audience at VGA) after the trailer. I know it's just hype from the game itself, but hearing people cheer after a guy was strapped with a bomb, kicked out a window, and blew up in the middle of traffic was weird for me.
I am really looking forward to the game though.
I feel bad for the mister. :saddowns:
I think it's okay, unless it gets banned everywhere.

At least its better than Russians.

forshadowing
Looks pretty cool
I find it interesting that this is made by French studio. But at least it will be different since the bad guys are other Americans.
Occupy wall street the game?
At least the terrorists arent brown people in this game. Seems like it will raise quite a few provocative questions, as a good game should. If it was just another case of shoot the bad guys or you are the bad guys, shoot the good guys, it would be horseshit compared to what seems to be a vigilante/terrorists plot.
Looking forward to it
2013? fuck :(
Apparently you play the "99%..."

Yah, but who cares. I'm sure in the game you'll have to make moral choices, try and save the guy but risk the bomb going off killing some of your men and civilians, or make the guy die and save everyone else. Just like the first trailer showed.
I read an article on this earlier today. It seems pretty cool.
Why would they push a bomb into innocent civilians if its the corrupt people they're after?

Grab attention + ends justifies means? They are terrorists after all.

Do you mean this trailer? Because that was pre-recorded Screaming of civilians

Same reason muslim extremists blow up other muslims I'd assume.
Kind of jarring that the developers tote the game as having gray-and-gray morality and that the Rainbows aren't going to be exactly 'good guys' themselves - and then they release this, which hardly makes the antagonists sympathetic aside from 'fuck the banks/politicians'. If they're really striving for gray-and-gray, i'd hate to see what the hell Rainbow Six does to up the ante.
You have my attention, Ubisoft.

No he means the crowd of people that watched it live during the VGAs.
It's Ubisoft Montreal, where I am now. :v:
whoa, that's an awesome premise for a game. Doing what everyone pretty much already wants to do? Genius!

Fight for the people by killing them?
Even though it's a new idea their reasoning is really shit

so are you saying that you want the terrorists to be reasonable
(if they were reasonable they wouldn't be terrorists)
Having American terrorists targeting corrupt CEOs and government officials kinda seem controversial.
Supposedly they're just generic revolutionaries, who rise to "power" through force instead of generic squat-and-wait protests.
I actually had a lot of fun with Vegas 2.
