I'd also get rid of the facecam and gif, the less screens you're recording with xplit the better (assuming you're using xplit). And if you can't really hold a conversation with yourself (I can't either) then get someone to co commentate and /or play with you. Don't let a few blunders keep you from doing something you enjoy.

If you'd watch more than 5-10 minutes of any of my streams you'd know how aware I am of my microphone's quality and my plans on getting a new one. I'm not willing to get rid of the things I post on my stream because I feel the webcam adds personality to my stream, as much of my humor comes from facial expression. I put the gif there for a joke I was having with the viewers, (note back to the beginning of this paragraph.) Actual PC Gamer personalities with more effort than screeching over a flavor of the week game, well...we aren't necessarily in the majority of what people think of when people say "streamers" and or "lets players." As someone who recently finally got the money to buy audio equipment, I feel for you. You actually have genuine gaming knowledge, one can tell when you speak about games, and you have genuine interest in gaming and sharing it with people. Taking criticism is a skill you may need to better, but it isn't easy. Just put forth the effort into understanding a mean comment or post still can have legit information. Also, the microphone I use is a Samson C01U condenser mic, good quality, and NOT expensive compared to several hundred dollar audio solutions, check it out on Amazon. Building a new PC myself, but it is based around a Titan and is going to cost me about 6 months rent so again, I understand money issues, I am having HUGE problems saving that money up while also not ending up on the street, and also eating. Not sure how I am gonna do it, but I am trying.
