The Lich King should have been killed in Warcraft 4.
The screen is so cluttered with numbers and symbols I don't have a clue what the fuck is even going on.
The end cinematic was awesome, but the video where they kill it is boring.

Ensidia got the world first 25 man kill, these guys got the world first 10 man kill. Ensidia also got banned for their kill due to exploiting so technically Paragon got the world first legit kill and they did it on their first attempt.

The Lich King didn't get killed, the "host" did. As said in the cinematic, there must always be a Lich King.

That's true, but it just isn't the same thing without Arthas (he was so famous not because he was the Lich King, but because he was Arthas and kicked everybody's ass in WC3). Him being the Lich King only added to his fame.

Sigh, you not understanding lore.
Like someone from Blizzard said (Metzen, I think.) killing the Arthas isn't the be-all and end-all of Warcraft or the Lich King. Arthas did not exist before WC3. Ner'zhul, the other half of the Lich King, was around in WC2.
I would assume that Ner'Zhul's spirit lives on inside Bolvar now. Bolvar is just resistant to his influence and becomes the Good Lich King.
Going to seem pretty ridiculous when 10 dudes with names like Moosalini and Leegolas kill a Planet Killing Dragon Deathwing though.

He definitely isn't the end-of-all, nor is Deathwing (there is always a bigger fish), but he was the most famous and loved/hated character. Also :10bux: that Bolvar gets corrupted at some point and turns evil and it all starts over again (or maybe the LK helps defeat Deathwing in some temporary alliance and afterwards goes back to being enemy with everything living).
I feel so nerdy for thinking this is awesome
