Just wait for MGS5. I hope that will be the new peak.
The only reason I might agree Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory WAS the pinnacle of the stealth genre is because of how awesome the multiplayer was. That said, multiplayer communities fade with time. But at least you can still play it, as opposed to Metal Gear Solid games where they just shut down the entire multiplayer function after the game is out of its prime and the entire community is sad and has to binge for the last week or so it exists.

Also, Metal Gear Solid games are fucking great, and they have yet to hit a really sour note. So while Chaos Theory did it REALLY right that one time, Kojima always delivers

I loved it. For me it's 3 > 4 > 2 > 1
And only that order because I never played the first one when it came out, so my opinion isn't really "correct" on that one.

I consider it great simply because of how effective it was at manipulating my emotions.
[sp2]"This is good... Isnt it?"[/sp2]

I'm personally still waiting for a stealth game as good as Thief 2.
