This guy's work sure is somethin'.
Hold on I need to pick up the pieces of my blown up mind.
math! science! technology!
It's extremely uncomfortable to watch that video with headphones.
I quite like the sounds tbh.
I'm too stoned for this

I had earbuds on, it was trippy having sensations inside your head that didn't feel like just sound.
That butterfly impressed me.

Having Z-Deflection can take things up to a new level.

Z-deflection? I wasn't aware you could get 3d CROs :P
Wow I didn't really think anyone else found this stuff interesting. Whenever I'm bored I like to make shapes using oscilloscopes too (obviously not to the crazy levels this guy does) but like simple things like letters or just interesting shapes. Now that I know what insanity this can get to I'll be sure to push myself harder!

nerdy shit on oscilloscopes is almost as old as oscilloscopes themselves
it's really surprising just how much can be done with something conceptually as simple as an oscilloscope, after all basically all arbitrary waveforms can be represented through sums of sins and cosines through fourier, so really the skys the limit when it comes to what can be displayed on one
I thought they were only limited to drawing spirals or something for the mushroom, then they drew a fucking field and a butterfly

I watched this hours ago stoned, I am definitely not posting under the influence of course.
I feel like if idosing or whatever was a thing, this would be it.
The way his voice is modulated when he's talking over the circle is fascinating for some reason.
this looks like something they'd use in alien to make a pseudo-3D map
Wow this is awesome

This is like what people in the '60s thought music in the year 2000 would be like.
this is awesome
I would love a music video set to footage of this kind of stuff

Snagged that shit, if you're okay with me using it. Can't see anyone else using it yet.
Otherwise, I'll just go back to the boring old creeper avatar.

Dude, go ahead. I don't have gold, so it's of no use to me. Enjoy.

Straight up fucking wizardry

Whoops! I meant Z-axis, which is simply the brightness modulation of the point at any given point.

Are they spinning left or are they spinning right?
Both, if you can manage to get your brain to cooperate
