About every two months or so I go "damn I should REALLY re-watch naruto, that zabuza fight was hype as SHIT" and then I remember the 300 episodes that follow and change my mind

The thing about Naruto is that it's a load of crap 90% of the time and then 10% of the time they put in fuckloads of money and talent and make awesome fight scenes.
I mean that fight between naruto and sasuke is fucking beautiful, i just wish there wasn't an hour of talking mixed into it
I wish every fight was beautifully animated as opposed to a good few.

The worst part is when they have episodes completely dedicated to flashbacks in the middle of a fight scene.

Every episode of Naruto I've seen on tv has been people talking for 20 minutes and closeups of their eyes and faces all the time.
Saw that coming a billion miles away.

I will never understand why they do that.
It's like if you were watching porn, but in the middle of it they cut to a 30 minutes long commercial. And then they keep cutting between the porn and the commercial throughout the rest of it.
