Ubisoft really like that Assassins Creed running animation, don't they?

Something about the UI and the overall style make me think it's some sort of Templar Animus simulation or something as a sort of spin-off from AC.

Why spend money making new stuff when you don't have to.
The super video gamey bright coloured effects totally ruin the otherwise good medieval aesthetic. Why they tried to force that shit in I have no idea. In AC it made sense at least since you were in the animus.
I hope that UI isn't final.
something about the control scheme tells me it won't play very well at all on windows
PvK vs AC
The animations are gorgeous but the flashy UI and effects just makes it too floaty
The UI and animations really do make it look like an Assassins Creed multiplayer game, wouldn't be surprised to see some reused AC assets in there if you look hard enough.

Except combat in Pvk took a lot of skill and had depth.
Thank god this comes out in February. I don't think I'd have the heart to choose either this or M&B: Bannerlords. As much as many people like to riff on Ubisoft, this looks like my kind of medieval multiplayer game outside of Chivalry and M&B.
If they can keep the game fresh by adding more maps and possibly more factions (c'mon Spartans and Celts!) then you've won me over.

Well, yeah. That's kind of how they do things at big studios. If they implement 4000 animations into Assassin's Creed's locomotion system, why wouldn't they reuse it in other games?
game looks cool but 60$ sike lol nope
i'd hate for this to turn out like war of the roses did so ill sleep on it for now
and its a uPlay game :suicide:

You mean on a kb/mouse? Most Ubi games don't play too well on that. It's normal to expect a controller game.

"Most" Ubi games? What? The only Ubisoft game that plays better with controller I can think of is Assassin's Creed and that still plays totally fine with mouse and keyboard.
ubisoft is one of the few companies that actually has their games work with kb/m pretty good.
