Oh, my friend has the same problem with the Witcher3. Can't get over the movement controls or the UI or the horse controls. That's the thing: You have to become a master Geralt. (pronounced Gair-alt, not Jerr-alt) Then and only then will you ascend to the true status of Witcher player. The game is super fun once you get used to the controls.
I just can't watch people play games, it drives me up a wall whenever they miss something so clearly.

That's why I have trouble watching LPS now, if I'm watching my friends I can at least tell them to stop being garbage while I sit back and do absolutely nothing
I find I lack the patience to play basically anything anymore, except the same handful of titles such as Resident Evil games, GTA games(even those are getting old tho), Grand Strategy Games(can't even play AoE anymore...), Civilization games, and like Bethesda type games(in small doses).
Watching certain games can definitely be kinda fun though for sure, and has allowed me to enjoy games that I like the atmosphere and look of, but hate the gameplay(dark souls/bloodborne, Witcher as he said, and so on).
This video kinda sums up why I keep watching lets plays and some streamers on Twitch. I got into watching other people play games mainly due to the fact I couldn't afford to buy all the games I wanted to play on my own. So I found people I liked and watched them play the games I decided not to spend my money on.
He also neglected to mention the feeling of seeing someone else go through a game you love, and see they experience it for the first time. It's a special experience.

Or they have the reaction time of a brain damaged turtle.

Or if they just disrespect the game in general. That's my pet peeve.

This is why I try to only watch Let's Plays of games that the person playing has already played and has an intimate knowledge of.
