Part of a preview of the "eLeague" CS:GO League that will air on TBS later this year.
Everything the Esports guys were saying about the CS:GO match were so damn generic. "It was a great game, good map. it was back and forth, we felt like the polish guys were gona win, but the NA clawed it back at the end" even when they talked about the first map, they never talked about the specifics of it just like "oh they took the map away from the polish guys until the next map"
lmao thorin

they were probably trying to keep it palatable to those who aren't really into the game, with the extremely limited time slot that they had

Is it really any different when they ask players of regular sports after the game?
shaq absolutely slaughtered that nerd.

I'm trying to figure out why he felt the need to attack Shaq anyway
They really need better casters for esports. Thorin attacking Shaq just makes it look bad.

assuming this preceded or followed NBA coverage, i think the point they were trying to drive home is that a "map" is virtually the same thing as a basketball court and the defense can take away parts of it just like a player can lock down parts of the court.
they were really just trying to make it sound like NBA talk, but in a much more bland way
I'm trying to figure out why he felt the need to attack Shaq anyway
Because Thorin is a retarded shit talker.
it aint smart mixing brothas and video games
Why is Richard Lewis still a panelist at things after he choked that guy at dream league and acted like a brat about it. And why is this analysis so boring, DoTA2 analysists can't be shut up until the next game starts.
because he's extremely good at his job despite being a moron. It's like asking why loda is still a player after going backstage to get in someones face and abuse them and acting like a brat about it later

definitely wasn't an "attack". Idk if any of you have ever watched NBA but this shit goes on constantly between everyone.
I'm guessing he did it, both as a joke and also to bring exposure to the short slot they had by making it somewhat controversial/funny enough to share around
shaq absolutely slaughtered that nerd.
I feel like he baited him and overall was a better troll. I'm sure Shaq thought he won cause he was intimidating, but that's not really how social conflicts work out all the time, certainly not in some modern culture. On the internet calling yourself tough and talking shit a lot in a response is seen as being trolled.
I don't think it's acceptable behaviour to do something like that and it's really silly that somebody can be so good at something it doesn't matter what they do or say
Nobody said it was acceptable behavior
You're acting like he killed somebody. It was a dumb immature fight between two dumb immature people. It's been settled between both parties (and the police, who just left after being called without charging anybody).
Rlewis also got in massive strife over it and was put in to a situation that caused him to lose a spot on an analyst desk. It's not like he just got away scott-free with fighting with somebody backstage

that's what highlights are.
Shaq got wrecked pretty bad :v:
Doesn't everyone watch that show for the banter between the guys? I read that somewhere on reddit I think, that the show (and casters) of NBA are sort of famous for the bad stuff they say to each other.
like do people bet on escorts like why do they care
like do people bet on escorts like why do they care
Same reason anyone would bet on normal sports? For some people it can be a lot more engaging and they will be more invested if they bet with their money based on some research and understanding of the game/sport.
Because Thorin is a retarded shit talker.
No, that's just how it works over there. Did you watch until the end of the video? The basketball guys had banter going on between them too. That's all it is. Playful banter. Unless you think Shaq was serious about beating the shit out of someone just because they said he was fat.
I'm trying to figure out why he felt the need to attack Shaq anyway
"Inside the NBA" is notorious for the banter that goes on, Charles Barkley has said some things that would get him fired anywhere else. Some of the shit they say is pretty out there. Thorin bantering with them is really just him trying to do what they do and it actually works pretty well. From what I saw the NBA desk and the producers freaking loved it.
Thorin can act like a dick but I feel he does it cause he understand its boring to watch so he makes it either awkward or funny as hell but tbh I've watched some of his analysis videos and he's really well spoken and has an interesting perspective on things. imo atleast.
Gotta love Thorin. Sure people give him shit but he knows how to grab attention and get people talking about something.
cringe
I liked the banter, it made me laugh. I think the panelists are going to represent their audience's attitudes. "Real sports" fans are going to be sceptical of esports and esports are going to be sassy about it.
They were all just having a laugh.

haha, "attacking".
Shaq and the others banter against each other all the time, a lot of the time against Charles cause Charles has no filter and says stupid shit all the time. But that's what makes it great, it keeps it interesting when a basketball game went flat. I love me some Shaq v Charles banter, they're hilarious.

Never forget.

This is bringing Charles Barkley dangerously close to discovering the world of memes about him.
That was hilarious the lot of you guys are nuts.
