All I remember about this game is that it supposedly had an amazing fire spread system.

I only remember seeing this video about the game
To think the first 3D survival horror game, heavily acclaimed to this very day, would have its series head a downward spiral.
This game is amazing on PS3, one of the best games. I never played it on PC or Xbox, I just know they fixed all the problems and tweaked the gameplay for PS3 version.
Fast and Alone in the Dark sounds like me on a friday night
The game was completely buggy and broken but even so i loved it, the bugs added so much hilarity value to me and the mechanics while clearly unfinished were quite fun. Loved the fire stuff.

This game didn't release well

To be fair it's not like resident evil and silent hill fared better

At least RE came back round to actual horror. Silent Hill hasn't got a chance in hell of returning correctly.
Wish they'd just do a remaster of New Nightmare and leave it at that. Need to hear Aline shout Cornbeef one more time.
"I don't have your stone, and fuck you anyway!" :v:
Can't forget the amazing writing and dialogue.
