See, the thing is that you can do something new with music if it actually fits the theme of the game, like so:

It fit the whole premise and happy-go-lucky feel of Bad Company 1, so it was not only a good piece of music, but it fit with the actual game.
The themes from BF4 and 3 are awful things that don't fit with the atmosphere of the game at all, and barely qualify as music. More or less just dumb electronic garbage to make the Deadmau5/Skrillex and general CoD audience squeal, nothing more.
At my job we are allowed to play trailers on the gaming rigs we built for display cause we are tired of customers screwing them up.
Right now we have our big TV playing the BF4 trailer, AMD rig playing 2142 and Intel Rig playing BF3's trailer

it think it's nice - its very disjointed and abrupt, fitting for a game where something is bound to be exploding or dying at any given moment
