I smirked at "Would you like to be?"
AHAAAHAHAAAAHAHAA! OH GOD SO FUCKING FUNNY. Har har har
that is a really clever way to point out how unfunny laugh track shows can be but the big bang theory isn't all that bad, you could have picked a more unfunny show
A bunch of long pauses in between dialogues.
The big bang theory isn't half bad. This should of been done on something like two and a half men.
That was pretty funny because it made the conversation seem a lot more awkward.
Well there are those kind of pauses so that the laughter track doesn't get in the way of the talking. If this was filmed and edited without the laugh track in mind, i could see it being funny/funnier.
Its funny, but without the laugh track the timing is off. After all, comedy is timing.
They don't actually use a "laugh track" Big Bang Theory has a studio audience.

Okay I want to know the before and after of this scene. I'm so lost.
What the hell led up to this scene? :v:
When watching real cabaret in a real theatre, you can see a difference in jokes: Only some people laugh at intelligent jokes, which makes you not feel bad if you don't get it. Some other people start laughing later when they get it with the obvious jokes everyone laughs. On the laugh track series and the series with an audience forced to laugh, there is no difference between these kinds of jokes, which makes it annoying for a lot of people.

It's better when there's small amounts of laughter that only one or two people laugh at.
It's irritating either way. Clever humor doesn't need to tell people when to laugh.
Old simpsons series and Futurama
Live laughter makes every episode better.
If the gaps were edited out, it would actually work. I cannot stand canned laughter these days, I don't need the writers telling me what is funny.

Now for the opposite.

It's an alright show I guess. It has its moments but they are a bit rare.
Snipped the picture because I don't know the thumbnail code
There's a lot of people that appear more than once. [/obvious] Still, I like the Big Bang Theory.
There's a lot of people that appear more than once. [/obvious] Still, I like the Big Bang Theory.
Why must some people always think there's something fake in everything [editline]04:56PM[/editline] "I cannot see what i'm breathing, air is not real, air is fake!"
That's because it's a badly stitched together panorama picture. It isn't fake.

This is pure fucking win.
